The simpleImage contains a payload already compressed with lzma-based xz (by default), so further compressing it with lzma will often make the result larger. On the contrary, compressing these simpleImages with gzip can make the result smaller, so replace lzma with libdeflate-gzip to compress kernel for ws-ap3715i.
